Coronavirus: Brunswick Soccer Association Update

Hello BSA Families!!

We hope that this email finds you safe, healthy, and enjoying your families in this current state of our lives. It seems like an uncertain time with new information coming out almost every day. Please know that our thoughts are with all of our BSA families at this time.
 
We wanted to take a moment and update you on the current status of our spring season which was set to start next week. US Club Soccer, which we are affiliated with through our travel league, has postponed all soccer activities through APRIL 30, 2020. This directly affects us and postpones any practices or games until May 1st at the earliest. While this is disappointing, we understand that it is a decision made with everyone's safety and health in mind. 

The OHTSL is exploring many options for this current spring season. A conference call with all the communities in the league is being held within the week to discuss different possibilities. We are hoping that at some point we may get back on the pitch and have the opportunity to work with your children again. I am sure that they are missing soccer, their teammates, and their coaches (we know the coaches are missing them)! 

Once we have more information from the league, our board will discuss what this will mean for our season and how we can look to proceed. Once we have more information we will be sure to pass it on to all of you. 

All of you are in our thoughts and we hope that your families are safe and healthy. We hope to see all of you soon!!
